The American Music Award Show is well-known as one of the most entertaining award shows in the music industry. Everything from the red carpet to the performances makes the AMAs very exciting and fun.
We love music, but we love fashion EVEN MORE and that's why these gala looks are so amazing. The AMAs Red carpet gave us some really great looks that we need to analyze from the design perspective and decide what made them so successful for the AMAs. This is my selection for the best dressed at the 2017 AMAs. Which one was your favorite?

Selena Gomez - Coach
She was everyone's favorite. Selena looked amazing with her new ashy blonde hair and the leather jacket-inspired minidress by Coach. This dress reminded me of the Moschino biker shoulder bag from AW14 and also what CL wore for the Moschino S/S 2015 Fashion Show at Milan Fashion Week.
Don't get me wrong! it is a popular silhouette but at a first glance, I assumed Selena's dress was a Moschino's. She looked amazing and deserves the best-dressed title.
Hailee Steinfeld - Mugler
Just when I removed my oversized shoulder pads from my black blazer, Hailee Steinfeld had to take over the AMAs Red carpet with this all-black look and the structured power shoulders. She wore Mugler for the award show and the slick-back hair made this look to be one of my favorites. It is just a classic black suit with big shoulder pads and a leather bustier, but everything is elegant, sexy and simple.
Demi Lovato - Ester Abner
Another silhouette and draping technique that we have seen before on the red carpet, this "Ester Abner" made Demi Lovato looked like a beautiful dark evil mermaid and I loved it. Probably not the best dress for the Music Awards since this show tends to be more relaxed and fun, but we have to admit that this is a stunning classic gown that wraps her curves perfectly.
Caleb McLaughlin - Phillip Lim
Even when I think that the jacket, the matching pants, and the shoes were too much together, Caleb added a little bit of fun to the red carpet with this paint-splattered look from Phillip Lim.
He is a really talented young man and looked great for the AMAs. Next time, he should avoid the jacket with the same print and he would be everyone's favorite.
Maia Mitchell - Alberto Audenino
The shinny belt almost ruined this look, but Maia is so beautiful that I needed to include her on this list. The one-shoulder jumpsuit with laser-cut black petals is something different for this actress and she looked stunning. The quality of the jumpsuit's and belt's fabric is not the best, but the silhouette and aesthetic of this outfit deserved a 5!
Niall Horan - Paul Smith
Niall wore an amazing classic navy and grey suit that made him look sophisticated and modern. This three-piece Paul Smith suit is something that completely belongs to Niall's fashion personal style. Also, the beautiful shiny dressy shoes are perfect and the pants'fit is just right.
