Smorgasburg Style in Brooklyn

OOTD AT SMORGASBURG

Summer in the city for me means picnics, rooftop brunch, and Smorgasburg. Visiting the popular seasonal outdoor foodie market is one of the activities that I can't miss every summer; Smorgasburg has everything. You can find more than 75 stands that offer different types of food from all over the world and if you are vegan like me, I highly recommend you to visit the "Chickpea and Olive" booth.

The food at Smorgasburg is truly amazing and innovative and every summer you would find a new crazy beautiful food creation. On Saturdays, the food market is located in Williamsburg and the view of the city from this spot is probably the best part of it. On Sundays, the food market is located in Prospect Park which is a great location for couples and families.

This time I went to the Williamsburg location on Saturday. I had an amazing burger called Calexico which combines avocado, pickled red onions, pickled jalapenos, v- cheddar cheese, chipotle aioli and a homemade beet patty at "Chickpea and Olive". For dessert, I went to the "Ube Kitchen" stand and enjoyed the Ube Coconut Flan Brulee and I'm officially in love with this Filipino vegan food. This dish has everything you would ever want in a dessert, it has a cupcake, a flan, and even a scoop of Ube ice cream. You would love it, so please visit their stand because it's delicious.

Now let's talk about fashion; Smorgasburg is a casual foodie event and you can certainly wear anything that you desire. I wore this new white top that has a smocked embroidered section and some embroidered off-white cream flowers on the bell sleeves. Very simple black and white cutesy outfit.

Skinny jeans, black ankle boots and my funky new glasses from "MADE YOU LUK" completed the look. A good graffiti is always a nice background for your style photos and Brooklyn has so many astounding ones that would upgrade your OOTD photography.
