I have been living in New York for almost a decade, and it's unbelievable to see how many great places this city owns. My best friend visited New York for the first time nearly one month ago, and it was amazing to show him the city I live in. I don't want to brag or anything like that, but to be honest with you I gave him one of the best tours that anyone would ever get. I literally took him everywhere, and I don't think that most New Yorkers or TOURIST have seen as many places as he did.
I organized every single day for him, and I did it in a way that we had enough time for every attraction, time for a nice meal, and obviously time for my coffee recommendation of the day. If you want to know my tips about how to plan your visit to New York, let me know, and I'll write a detailed blog post about it.
For now, I'll tell you more about The New York Public Library, one of the famous destinations in the city but one that usually tourists forget to visit or in a hurry to visit Times Sq, they pass it by and miss the history and beauty of the library. I want you to include this library for your next trip to New York because it is located in the heart of the city and you can easily squeeze it in your tight schedule.

NY has many libraries, but one of the most popular ones is The Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. It is located on 476 5th Ave, New York, NY 10018 and if you take the train, the closest subway stations are "42st Bryant Park", "5 Av -Bryant Park", "Grand Central-42st", and "Times Sq." I created a cute little map for you so you can understand which subway stations are closer to the library and which subway lines/trains stop in each station (I hope this makes your trip to the library easier). Basically, this library is really close to Times Sq. and right next to Bryant Park (it kind of looks like Bryant Park and The library are one- so keep that in mind).
This library has been used for movies, fashion/commercial photoshoots, and it's a beautiful building that makes you wanna stay and read a good book or research about a new topic. Every single corner of this library offers the perfect background for your Instagram photo; Did I mention that you can go inside for FREE? Well, yes, you can!.
My top recommendations for the perfect IG PHOTO are the fountains outside of the building on the 5th av side and the vast windows inside where the light would hit your face so nicely and allow you to get a photo with a nostalgic mood.
Of course, the place offers you 1000 options since its architecture has so many rich details like the marble lions outside the building, the stairs inside, the library shelves, the ceiling art (imagine a photo taken from a low level looking up - wow! ).

He estado viviendo en Nueva York durante casi una década y es increíble ver cuántos lugares excelentes posee esta ciudad. Mi mejor amigo visitó Nueva York por primera vez hace casi un mes y fue increíble mostrarle la ciudad en la que yo vivo. No quiero alardear ni nada de eso, pero para ser sincera, le di uno de los mejores recorridos que cualquiera puediera obtener. Literalmente lo lleve a todas partes y no creo que la mayoría de los neoyorquinos o TURISTAS hayan visto tantos lugares como él.
Organicé todos los días para él y lo hice de una manera que tuvimos suficiente tiempo para cada atracción, tiempo para una buena comida y obviamente tiempo para mi recomendación de café del día. Si desean conocer mis consejos sobre cómo planificar su visita a Nueva York, avísenme y asi puedo escribir una publicación para el blog que sea detallada al respecto.
Por ahora, le contaré más sobre la Biblioteca Pública de Nueva York, uno de los destinos famosos de la ciudad, pero que generalmente los turistas olvidan visitar o en la prisa de visitar Times Sq, la pasan por alto perdiendose la historia y la belleza de la biblioteca. Quiero que incluyas esta biblioteca para tu próximo viaje a Nueva York porque está ubicada en el corazón de la ciudad y puedes agregarla en tu apretada agenda fácilmente.

* Esta biblioteca se ha utilizado para películas, sesiones de fotos de moda / comerciales y es un hermoso edificio que te hace querer quedarte y leer un buen libro o investigar sobre un nuevo tema. Cada rincón de esta biblioteca ofrece el fondo perfecto para tu foto de Instagram; ¿Mencioné que puedes entrar GRATIS? pues si puedes !.
Mis principales recomendaciones para la foto perfecta de IG son las fuentes afuera del edificio en el lado de la 5Av y los enormes ventanales de adentro donde la luz te dara en el rostro perfectamente y te permitiría tomar una foto con un estilo nostálgico.
Por supuesto, el lugar le ofrece 1000 opciones ya que su arquitectura tiene tantos detalles como los leones de mármol afuera del edificio, las escaleras de adentro, los estantes de la biblioteca, el arte en el techo (imaginate una foto tomada desde un nivel suelo mirando hacia arriba, ¡wow!) .
