Taking a photo in front of the FLATIRON BUILDING is a must-do for Instagram influencers, and basically, every tourist that visits NY. You are always going to see people taking beautiful photos in front of the building and playing with the angles/perspective that the skyscraper adds to the photograph.
The building is different, and its architecture is impressive. It was designed by architect Daniel Burn and constructed in 1902. It has a triangular shape that resembles a clothing iron; located between Fifth Avenue, Broadway, East 22nd Street, and East 23rd Street. Its official entrance is on 175 5th Ave, New York, NY 10010.
Visiting the Flatiron is not something that would take you more than 15 minutes. You are not going to spend the whole day only seeing the building because it's not like you can go inside and enjoy a tour or the view from the top of the building. Even when there are plans to transform the structure into a luxury hotel which may allow people to go inside the building in the future, you can only see the building from outside for now.

The highlight of going there and seeing the architecture is actually what you can do around this building. Next to the Flatiron building is Madison Square Park, which has beautiful trees and flowers; you can sit on one of the benches and relax from the hectic city style. It also has a cute section only for dogs where they can play with each other and who doesn't love dogs?.
There are many restaurants around this area, like Eataly, Xi'an Famous foods, Terry, etc. The good thing about visiting this building is that it is a quick stop and a must-do for you and your Instagram feed. I recommend going to the intersection right in front of the pointy edge of the building. You can play with the lighting, your pose, and the perspective between the Flatiron and your position there. Another option to achieve great pictures at this location is to go a little bit further away and capture yourself walking on the zebra crossing with the Flatiron Building in the background. I can assure that you'd get cool IG-worthy photos.

How to get there:
- The closest subway station is "23rd Street Station" where the N/Q/R/W trains stop, and it is right in front of the building - 5th Av.
- You can also take the 6 train to "23rd Street" which stops on 6th Av and walk to5th Av.
-You can take the F or M to 23rd Street which stops on Park Av.

Visitar el Flatiron no es algo que te lleve más de 15 minutos, no vas a pasar todo el día solo viendo el edificio porque la verdad es que no puedes entrar y disfrutar de un recorrido dentro de la estructura o de la vista que este pueda ofrecer. Y aunque hay planes para transformar el edificio en un hotel de lujo, lo cual permitiría en un futuro a las personas entrar al edificio, por ahora, solo se ve puede ver desde afuera.
Lo más destacado de ir allí y ver la arquitectura es en realidad lo que puedes hacer alrededor de este edificio. Al lado del edificio Flatiron se encuentra el Madison Square Park, que tiene hermosos árboles y flores, donde te puedes sentarte en uno de los bancos y relajarte del estilo agitado de la ciudad, y también tiene una linda sección solo para perros donde pueden jugar entre ellos.
Hay muchos restaurantes en esta área, como Eataly, Xi'an Famous foods, Terry, etc. Lo bueno de visitar el edificio es que es una parada rápida y una visita obligatoria para tu perfil de Instagram.
