NAIL ART: Easy Fall Tartan For The Holidays

I have partnered with EMMA Beauty to show you this cute nail art with the trendiest colors of this season which are included in their EMMA Beauty's Happy Holidays Collection. I love nail polish and I like collecting them, but now I am more cautious about the brands that I get.  EMMA Beauty's products are PETA certified (cruelty-free and vegan) and their formula is free of the 12+ nasty commonly used toxic ingredients or animal-derived ingredients that most nail polishes have.

My inspiration for this nail art was tartan. Tartan is a pattern consisting of crisscrossed horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colors and I like using this kind of pattern for clothes. I used this pattern a lot when I design pieces for the fall/winter season.

This tartan I painted on my nails is less complex than the fabric pattern itself and the trick is to know where to place de stripes on the nail to make it look similar to the intricate tartan. I am really happy with the results of this nail art and I am sure that all of you can try it at home.  Below you are going to be able to see all the products I used and all the steps I did to achieve this cute Fall 2019 style. PROCESS

A good long-lasting nail art starts with a proper nail care regimen and EMMA BEAUTY has an essential kit that comes with a nail file, a hand moisturizer, a base coat, one nail polish, and a top coat polish, A great and complete kit for everyone who wants to have nice and healthy nails. 

• 1) I filed my nails to my favorite shape.
• 2) Used the 'Triple Treat' moisturizer.
• 3) Applied one coat of 'Stuck On You' [LINK] - the base coat on every nail. 

• 4) Applied two coats of Naughty or Nice? on my middle finger, two coats of Happy Holidays! on my pinky, and two of Jingle All The Way on my thumb. 
• 5) For the index and ring fingernail, I applied two coats of pure white nail polish. The white layer is going to be the canvas for the easy tartan style.

• 6) There are different ways to paint your nails with the tartan style, but this one is the easiest. My tip for this tartan style is to paint elongated crosses +  on the nail with the same color for the horizontal and the vertical line and alternate the direction of the horizontal line for each color (upside-down crosses). I painted a purple, a green, and an orange cross for the index and ring fingernail. 
• 7) I added two rhinestones on my middle fingernail with nail glue. 
• 8) Finished the nail art with a top coat - 'Quickie Top Coat' [LINK] on all your nails. Be careful with the two nails with the tartan design, white nail polishes tend to bleed when applying topcoats. 
• 9) VOILA! NEW CUTE NAIL ART FOR THIS SEASON.

Me he asociado con EMMA Beauty para mostrarles este lindo arte de uñas con los colores más modernos de esta temporada que están incluidos en la Colección Happy Holidays de EMMA Beauty. La verdad es que me encanta el esmalte de uñas y me gusta coleccionarlos, pero ahora soy más cautelosa con las marcas que obtengo. Los productos de EMMA Beauty están certificados por PETA (libres de crueldad animal y veganos) y su fórmula no contiene los 12+ ingredientes tóxicos desagradables de uso común o ingredientes derivados de animales que tienen la mayoría de los esmaltes de uñas.

Mi inspiración para este arte de uñas fue el tartán. El tartán es un patrón que consiste en bandas horizontales y verticales entrecruzadas en múltiples colores y me gusta usar este tipo de patrón para la ropa. Utilicé mucho este patrón cuando diseño piezas para la temporada de otoño / invierno.

Este tartán que pinté en mis uñas es menos complejo que el patrón de la tela en sí y el truco es saber dónde colocar las rayas en la uña para que se vea similar al intrincado tartán.

PROCESO
Un buen arte de uñas que sea duradero comienza con un régimen de cuidado de uñas adecuado y EMMA BEAUTY tiene un kit esencial que viene con una lima de uñas, una crema hidratante para manos, una capa base, un esmalte de uñas y un esmalte de capa protectora. Un excelente y completo kit para todos los que quieran tener uñas bonitas y saludables.

• 1) Limé las uñas a mi forma favorita.
• 2) Usé la crema hidratante 'Triple Treat'.
• 3) Aplique una capa de 'Stuck On You' [LINK]- la capa base en cada uña.
• 4) Aquique dos capas de Naughty or Nice? en mi dedo medio, dos capas de Happy Holidays! en mi meñique, y dos de Jingle All The Way en mi pulgar.
• 5) Para el índice y la uña del anillo, apliqué dos capas de esmalte de uñas blanco puro. La capa blanca es el lienzo para el estilo de tartán que es super fácil de hacer.
• 6) Hay diferentes formas de pintar las uñas con el estilo tartán, pero esta es la más fácil. Mi consejo para este estilo es pintar cruces alargadas + en la uña con el mismo color para la línea horizontal y la vertical , después alternar la dirección de la línea horizontal para cada color (cruces al revés). Pinté una cruz púrpura, una verde y una naranja para el índice y la uña del anillo.
• 7) Agregué dos diamantes de imitación en la uña del medio con pegamento para uñas.
• 8) Terminé el arte de las uñas con una capa superior protectora :'Quickie Top Coat' [LINK] en todas las uñas. Tengan cuidado con las dos uñas con el diseño de tartán, los esmaltes de uñas blancos tienden a sangrar/correrse al aplicar capas de esmalte de acabado.
• 9) VOILA! NUEVO ARTE DE UÑAS LINDO PARA ESTA TEMPORADA.
