We have seen this location plenty of times... in movies, tv shows, beautiful photos, and definitely on Instagram. Grand Central Terminal is a destination that every tourist has to visit when they come to NY and today's recommendation for all you that want to take beautiful Instagram photos.
Usually, when you are visiting a place like NYC, you want people to know that you are in this magical hectic city, and an unforgettable and well-known location is the Grand Central Terminal.
The terminal is beautiful inside and outside, especially when it's clean and not crazy crowded. The exterior of this infrastructure has sculptures of Roman figures like Minerva, Mercury, and Hercules and also an enormous exterior clock that actually works.
Grand Central Station is located at 42nd Street and Park Avenue. It can also be accessed from Lexington Avenue on the East, Vanderbilt Avenue on the West, and 46th Street on the North.
The main concourse is the "main attraction" of this place and where you probably want to take the iconic IG photo. Here you can find the famous four-faced opal clock, which sits in the center of this space exactly above the Information Booth, also all the different gates for the trains and the massive ceiling with a teal shade. The ceiling is a very important part of the Grand Central, and it depicts the constellations of the zodiac.
To be honest with you, there are so many exciting facts about this place that I would love to share right now - like the fact that Hitler wanted to destroy it or that it has been rebuilt multiple times. But let's focus on the photograph you need to take when you visit the Grand Central Terminal.

- 4, 5, 6 Trains - Green Line.
- 7 trains - Purple Line.
- S shuttle train that runs between Times Square and Grand Central - Grey Line.
Crowdedness:
This is probably if not the most crowded location to visit in NY. On the one hand, you can find thousands of tourists visiting this place, and on the other hand, this terminal is frequented by New Yorkers who actually need to take a train, subway, or make a transfer to move across the city.
Visiting Time:
Avoid rush hours at all costs! Don't visit it from 5PM to 7PM, just don't even try! It would be insane unless that is what you are looking to experience - seeing an ocean of people. This place is always going to be crowded, but the best time to visit is probably before they close or just late at night. I want to remind you that Grand Central Terminal is different from Grand Central Station and that you can pretty much access the station 24/7, but the shops, the dining concourse, and the main course are something different and part of the terminal, not the station.

The perspective of this infrastructure is fantastic, and it will always remind me of the time when one of my drawing professors brought my class there to study "perspective." We had to draw the panels from different angles/sides at the main concourse, and we had to sit on the floor - the dirty Grand Central Floor, hahaha (good times tho!).

Hemos visto este lugar muchas veces ... en películas, programas de televisión, hermosas fotos y definitivamente en Instagram. Grand Central Terminal es un destino que todo turista debe visitar cuando visita Nueva York y por esta razón es la recomendación de hoy para todos los que quieran tomar hermosas fotos para Instagram.
Por lo general, cuando visitas un lugar como Nueva York, quiere que las personas sepan que te encuentras en esta ciudad mágica y agitada, y una ubicación inolvidable y muy conocida es la Terminal del Grand Central.
La terminal es hermosa por dentro y por fuera, especialmente cuando está limpia y no está llena de gente. El exterior de esta infraestructura tiene esculturas de figuras romanas como Minerva, Mercurio y Hércules y también un enorme reloj que realmente funciona.

Por lo general, mucha gente sube a la parte superior de las escaleras ubicadas debajo de las grandes ventanas principales en la plaza principal. Aquí pueden obtener una foto que incluye el magnífico techo, las grandes ventanas del otro costado, los paneles de esta estructura y posiblemente el famoso reloj.
La perspectiva de esta infraestructura es fantástica y siempre me recordará el momento en que uno de mis profesores de dibujo llevo a mi clase allí para estudiar "perspectiva". Tuvimos que dibujar los paneles desde diferentes ángulos / lados en el vestíbulo principal y tuvimos que sentarnos en el piso, el sucio piso de Grand Central jajaja (¡buenos tiempos aquellos!).
- De todos modos, para esta toma, recomiendo jugar con tus manos, la perspectiva que ofrece este lugar, tu ropa o accesorios y dónde decides pararte definirá la composición de tu fotografía porque hay muchas líneas en el fondo.
