The Metropolitan Museum of Art, best known as The MET, is one of my favorite museums.
I have spent many hours visiting it, and I don't think I have seen it all. While I was studying fashion design at Parsons, I took many classes that required me to visit this museum at least once a week.

The MET is definitely a museum that all the tourists want to visit, and I don't blame them; the museum has a lot to offer. In terms of Instagram photography, there are endless opportunities to find a great location inside and outside this place. Only remember that all the pieces of art and exhibitions deserve respect from us, the visitors, and be mindful to not obstruct other people's sight for long since they want to appreciate the art and historical pieces, but their time in NY is limited.
The Egyptian Art wing has a beautiful open space with enormous windows and a real Egyptian Temple in the center. The Temple of Dendur in The Sackler Wing was a gift from Egypt to the United States in recognition of the support given to save Egyptian monuments threatened by the rising waters of the Nile. It was built around 15 B.C. when the Roman emperor Augustus ruled Egypt, and this is the location I am presenting you today for your Instagram photo.

Crowdedness:
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of New York City's most visited museum, so you should be mentally prepared to always see a lot of people there. It is possible to have a quiet visit as well if you go during the right time, but this museum would never be empty. Many schools from all over the world bring their students to the MET, so you should expect to see big groups walking around.
Visiting Time:
Sunday – Thursday: 10:00 am – 5:30 pm.
Friday and Saturday: 10:00 am – 9:00 pm.
- Mornings are always better in my opinion and days like Tuesdays or Wednesdays around 10-11 AM or sometimes 4-5 PM would be ideal for you to take that IG photo.
POSES:
For this location you have two options, you can either go for a serious more moody and elegant style of poses or be original and try fun poses without disrespecting the art pieces as I mentioned before.
For my poses this time, I decided to be a little playful and express a more romantic vibe. I played a lot with my long flowy dress which gave a more feminine and serene aesthetic.

El Metropolitan Museum of Art, mejor conocido como The MET, es uno de mis museos favoritos. He pasado muchas horas visitándolo y no creo haberlo visto todo. Mientras estudiaba diseño de moda en Parsons, tomé muchas clases que me hacian visitar este museo al menos una vez a la semana.
El MET es definitivamente un museo que todos los turistas quieren visitar y no los culpo, el museo tiene mucho que ofrecer. En términos de fotografía de Instagram, hay infinitas oportunidades para encontrar una excelente ubicación dentro y fuera de este lugar. Solo recuerden que todas las piezas de arte y exposiciones merecen respeto por parte de todos los visitantes, también tengan en cuenta de no obstruir la vista de otras personas por mucho tiempo ya que muchos turistas quieren apreciar el arte y las piezas históricas, pero su tiempo en Nueva York es limitado.
El ala de arte egipcio tiene un hermoso espacio abierto con enormes ventanas y un templo egipcio verdadero en el centro de este espacio. El Templo de Dendur en el ala de The Sackler fue un regalo de Egipto a los Estados Unidos en reconocimiento por el apoyo brindado para salvar los monumentos egipcios amenazados por las crecientes aguas del Nilo. - Las mañanas siempre son mejores en mi opinión y días como los martes o miércoles alrededor de las 10-11 a.m. o, a veces, de 4 a 5 p.m también el museo esta más vacio.
Poses:
Para esta ubicación, tienes dos opciones: puede optar por un estilo de poses serio más enigamatico y elegante o ser original y probar poses divertidas sin faltarle el respeto a las piezas de arte como mencioné anteriormente.
Para mis poses esta vez, decidí ser un poco más divertida y expresar un ambiente más romántico. Jugué mucho con mi vestido largo y fluido dandole una estética más femenina y serena a la fotografia.
